How to Service and Repair the Drag Link on 2009 Jeep Wrangler?

First, slide the drag link socket over the adjuster and tighten the adjustment sleeve bolt just enough so it does not move. Only tighten the bolts once the toe of your shoe is hiding against the edge of the bed. Then, connect the drag link to the knuckle and tighten the nut at 85 Nm (63 ft. lbs.) and after that, install the tie rod end to the knuckle and tighten it to the exact same specification of 85 Nm (63 ft. lbs.). Once that's done, fit the right side tire, lower the vehicle and adjust the toe.
