How to Safely Remove a Steering Column on 2009 Jeep Wrangler?

To remove the steering column, you must position the front wheels in a straight position, disconnect the negative cable in the battery and remove the airbag. Remove the column shrouds with a puller to separate the steering wheel. Remove the shifter interlock cable, coupler bolt and wiring harness then lower and remove the column.
