How to Remove a Shift Cable on 2009 Jeep Wrangler?

Before you take out the shift cable, shift the transmission to PARK and lift the vehicle. After that, disconnect the shift cable eyelet from the manual transmission lever and get rid of the shift cable from the bracket. After the car is lowered, take out the necessary panels on the console to reach the assembly and cable for the shifter. Disconnect the cable at the shift lever and shifter assembly bracket and after that, take off the nuts that attach the shift cable seal plate to the floor pan. After that, pass the cable through the floor panel and take the shift cable out from the car.
