How to Install the Hood Cable Assembly on 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Pull the release handle from the cable assembly and place the cable through the hole in the dash on its way up to the front of the engine. Place the rubber grommet in the dash panel, next fit the hood cable assembly to the cowl panel and then secure it by tightening the two retaining screws. After that, attach the trim panel to the driver side cowl panel. Hook the hood latch release cable up to the hood latch and attach the latch to the car. Install the grille and double-check that the hood has equal gaps of 4 mm (0.160 in.) to the sides and underside, for easy operation of the latch.
