  A: Prior to installing, place the pump through the pump grommet in the car, then slip the plastic strap over the pump and attach it securely to the reservoir. In the cowl area, put the reservoir in place and make sure the white hose hooks to the white side and the black hose hooks to the black side on the pump. Then, connect the pump wire and tighten each of the three retaining screws in the reservoir to 8 Nm (70 in. lbs.). First, install the cover on the crest and make sure the cover on the correct side overlaps the other side, then secure the right side cowl cover in place with four push retainers. Bolt in the seal from the engine compartment at the cowl. Before fitting the windshield wiper arms, ensure the front wiper system is in PARK by activating it and position the arms so that the driver's blade graze the left park mark and the passenger's blade graze the center park zone. Place the pivot where the arm is in the over/centered position, fasten the wiper arm retaining nut to 21 Nm (190 in. lbs.) and fit the cap to the wiper arm nut. Afterwards, attach the negative battery wire, open and close the hood and test out the running system.
