You should begin the front wiper motor service by first lifting the hood and detaching the negative cable from the battery. Apply a sharp, plastic pen-like trim stick (special tool #C-4755) or its equivalent to the wiper arm nut cap and carefully remove both it and the retaining nut. Swing the arm downward from the over/centered position by making a backslash shape with your hand. After that, uncover the cowl by removing the right side cover before the left side (because the right one is covering it). The rear engine compartment seal at the cowl should be removed and afterward, the four push retainers from the right side and three push retainers from the left should be taken away. Take out the wiper motor posi-lock harness by disconnecting and then remove the three mounting bolts to take the module out. Take out the driveshaft connector from the motor ball joint and after that, remove the three bolts attaching the front wiper motor to the module to unhook it.
