2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser Wheel Cover Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Properly Install a Wheel Cover on 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
A: Make sure the wheel studs have the wheel and tire assembly (1) fitted without nuts, line up the valve hole in the cover with the valve of the wheel, then put the cover over the studs. Stick to using the genuine (OEM) style wheel mounting (lug) nuts and never use anything without approval from the manufacturer. Replace the three tires with their new mounting nuts (lug nuts) . After you've lowered the vehicle, properly tighten all wheel mounting nuts in the proper order until they reach a torque of 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.). Safe and reliable vehicle handling depends on having strong contact between the metal of the wheel mounting (lug) nuts and the mounting surface. Do not use oil or grease on any studs or wheel mounting (lug) nuts.
