2010 Chrysler Town & Country ABS Control Module Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair the ABS Control Module on 2010 Chrysler Town & Country?
A: The first thing to do for service and repair is isolate the negative ground cable from the battery. It is necessary to keep the ICU clean so that dangers do not enter areas that matter the most. Treat all parts of the ICU and brake tubes with a solvent such as Mopar(R) Brake Parts Cleaner or its substitutes. After that, apply force on the tabs at the sides of the cover to release the connector, then lift up and out on the bottom half of the cover until it locks securely in place. After that, you can pull the connector directly out from the ABM. Make sure the ABM and HCU are 38 mm (1.5 inches) apart before removing the ABM, so the pressure sensor and pump motor connection aren't damaged and you don't have to replace the HCU. Refrain from touching the terminals on the HCU or the contact pads on the ABM stuff to reduce the risk of difficulties later. In the end, split the goal into two parts: targeting the buyer and influencing the decision.
