2010 Chrysler Town & Country Brake Caliper Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Replace a Front Brake Caliper on 2010 Chrysler Town & Country?
A: Use the brake pedal holding tool to apply pressure to the pedal, moving it about 1 inch (25 mm) into its initial travel, so that the master cylinder won't allow the brake fluid to leave through the lines when you remove the front brake caliper. Then, raise and support the vehicle and after that, unscrew the three wheel nuts from the mounts before taking off the tire and wheel. Unscrew the banjo bolt from the brake flex hose on the brake caliper, then take out the two washers it fits over. Hold the guide pin still against its wrench while using a hex key to rotate the caliper guide pin bolt. After removing the two guide pin bolts, slide the disc brake caliper off the disc brake adapter bracket and brake pads to finish the task.
