Take out the outer casing and put it onto a workbench for better access. Take apart parts of the HVAC housing if that helps you access the A/C evaporator. Lift the A/C evaporator gently out of where it sits in the lower HVAC chamber. When needed, remove any insulation that surrounds the A/C evaporator.
