How to Safely Remove the Rear A/C Evaporator on 2009 Chrysler Town & Country?

Removing the rear A/C evaporator should be done only after reading all the applicable directions, as skipping them could lead to injury. First, uninstall the rear heater-A/C housing and put it on a bench nearby. After that, take off the rear heater-A/C housing to reach the rear A/C evaporator. Outside the inboard half of the rear heater-A/C housing, carefully remove the A/C evaporator and get rid of all the O-ring seals. As the last step, use plugs in or tape to cover all the open line fittings for the refrigerant as well as the rear evaporator and expansion valve ports.
