How to Install a Power Steering Pump on a 2.0L/2.4L Engine on 2010 Dodge Avenger?

When fitting a power steering pump on a 2.0L or 2.4L engine, wipe the dirty end of the connection hose and the pump port with a clean cloth, update its O-rings if they are worn out, lubricate them and insert the new ones. Place the pump to be mounted and put the three bolts through the openings in the pulley while tightening each one to 26 Nm (19 ft. lbs.). After that, put on the drive belt, then attach the supply hose at the pump with a hose clamp to fix it in place. List connect the pressure hose to the pump pressure port and tighten the tube nut to 32 Nm (24 ft. lbs.). Then, connect the pressure hose routing bracket bolt to the engine mount and tighten it to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.). Pump in power steering fluids, look for any signs of leaks and only now place the appearance cover on the engine.
