2010 Dodge Caliber Clutch Slave Cylinder Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to install a Clutch Slave Cylinder on 2010 Dodge Caliber?
A: Install the friction clutch (1) by attaching it to the transaxle with new bolts, but first tighten the three CSC body screws, then hook up the fluid tube. Perform this in three steps: first, use 2 Nm (18 in. lbs.), then increase to 5 Nm (44 in. lbs.) and the final step is 8.4 Nm (74 in. lbs.). After getting the slave cylinder in place, install the transaxle and then start bleeding the clutch hydraulics.
