Removal of the rear quarter trim panel should come first, followed by removing and replacing the rear shock absorber. After that, unscrew the two nuts holding the shock assembly to the body bracket. Hold up the vehicle and then detach the mounting nuts for the wheel and take out the rear tire and wheel. After that, take the nut and bolt out of the shock's lower mounting point. At last, take the shock assembly out from the body bracket and raise it over the car's rear suspension.
