    A: Removal To remove the crankshaft, remove the engine, the oil pan, the oil pickup tube, and windage tray. Take away the timing belt cover, belt, tensioner and sprocket. Tap the dowel pin, remove the oil pump and label bearing caps to be used again. Lastly, remove crankshaft and make sure that it is fitted with proper bearing before being installed.
