2010 Jeep Liberty Antenna Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install an Antenna Module for Remote Start on 2010 Jeep Liberty?
A: Before you install the remote start antenna module, separate and cut off the negative battery port and wait about two minutes for the Srs capacitor to discharge. Install the antenna and the screws for it inside the instrument panel assembly and turn them to 2.5 Nm. Replace or mount the instrument cluster in its original position, then link the remote start cable again using the instructions from its removal. Use the fixing clips if you have them, then join the Sentry Key Remote Entry Module (Skreem) to the remote start antenna coaxial cable. Place the Skreem onto the ignition lock housing, so the antenna ring goes around the cylinder, then fasten the screw to secure it in place tightening it to 2 Nm. Reconnect the driver's instrument panel wire harness connector to the right connector on the Skreem electronic system, fix the right multi-function switch to the original integral bracket and attach the negative terminal of the battery back to its power terminal. Should you need to change the Skreem, a diagnostic scanner is required to initialize the replacement and install a minimum of two Sentry Key transponders. When changing the Skreem or spare tire pressure sensor, a diagnostic scan tool or a Tpm-rke Analyzer special tool is needed to program its information.
