Start with the Supplemental Restraint System (Srs) by disconnecting and discharging the negative battery cable and make sure you wait two minutes for the air bag capacitor. The first step is to pull out the negative battery cable. Afterward, lift the right multi-function switch up, since it is mounted to the Clock Spring bracket, to allow removal of the mounting screw of the Sentry Key Remote Entry Module (Skreem). Take the instrument panel wire harness connector off the Skreem connector receptacle. Lift the Kl offset screw out of the antenna ring of the steering column, then take out the Skreem antenna ring and remove the Skreem. Remove the coaxial electrical cable from its connector on the Skreem. As you take out the instrument cluster, make sure to find the coaxial cable's route so you don't lose it.
