How to Service a Cooling Fan Assembly on 2010 Jeep Liberty?

To service the electric radiator fan, unhook the battery negative cable, remove the coolant recovery/washer fluid bottle and unhook the radiator hose retainer. Disconnect the fan connector, remove the shroud bolts and lift the shroud. Replace any damaged fan blades, and for some vehicles remove the viscous fan together with the shroud.
