Link the lower radiator hose to the water pump and fit the accessory drive belt in place. Connect the fan shroud's upper part with the fan blade or viscous fan drive, so that all the air can flow smoothly through the radiator from top to bottom. Make sure to install the two fan shroud-to-radiator screws and check that the tips of the fan blades are at least 25 mm (1.0 inches) away from the fan shroud.
