How to install a parking brake cable on 2010 Jeep Liberty?

Begin installation of the parking brake cable by placing it inside the axle bracket and connecting it to the lever for the parking brake. After that, place the park brake cable between the stabilizer bar retainer bracket and the mount, applying 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.) of tightening to the bolts. Feed the cables underneath the floor and seat the grommets on top. Attach the two cables to the mount in the front and then attach them to the equalizer. Lift the carpet back into the rear and place the rear seat back on. Take the lockout device off the lever, adjust the brakes and then make sure the parking brake functions properly.
