2010 Jeep Wrangler Wiper Switch Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service a Wiper Switch on 2010 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Before installing a multifunction switch, first turn off the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) by unhooking the red, negative end of the battery and letting two minutes pass to allow the system capacitor to drain. The first thing to do is get rid of the upper and lower shrouds on the steering column. Then, release the screw that holds the right multi-function switch to the mounting bracket on the Clock Spring's right side. Slightly pull the switch in the opposite direction from the Clock Spring to remove the slide tabs from the channel forms in the bracket. After that, pull the jumper wire harness connector out of the connector receptacle on the right multi-function switch and remove the switch from the Clock Spring.
