How to Install the Right Wiper Switch on 2009 Jeep Wrangler?

The first step is to disconnect and isolate your vehicle's battery negative cable and disable the Supplemental Restraint System for two minutes after that. Position the switch right next to the mounting bracket on the right side of the Clock Spring and join the jumper wire harness connector to the receiving connector on the inboard side of the switch housing. Put the switch housing on the facia, so the slide tabs line up with the formations in the Clock Spring bracket. Now slide it in until it is securely fixed. Put the multi-function switch mounting tab in place so it matches its position on the assembly and then screw it into place with the 1 Nm (10 in. lbs.) torque. After that, secure the upper and lower shrouds to the steering column and re-attach the negative battery cable.
