Every part of SCCM requires a complete removal of the assembly from the column, as taking out anything else might damage the Clock Spring's pins and stop the air bag system from working. First, attach the Steering Control Module (SCM) onto the multi-function switch, connect the multi-function switch and SCM to the SCCM shroud and tighten the three screws on the bottom. After that, mount the speed control switch. For a vehicle with a manually adjustable column, mount the strut; for those with electronically adjustable columns, fit the electric tilt levers and switch instead. ESP vehicles require you to install both the steering angle sensor and the six o'clock screw. After leaving a screw on the Clock Spring loose, mount the Clock Spring, then place and tighten the SCCM on your steering column followed by fitting the last screw of the Clock Spring.
