Chrysler Aspen A/C Hose is a part of Chrysler Aspen fancy cars used to convey refrigerants to maintain ideal temperatures inside the cabin. Appreciated for durability, the A/C Hose enables the link between the compressor and various system parts to allow for the appropriate flow of refrigerant which is responsible for heat removal for the cabin. Specially made with aluminum fittings that are crimped to give way to no leakage, the Chrysler Aspen A/C Hose plays a very crucial role in ensuring that the A/C of the vehicle lies in its safe and efficient condition because of the pressures that the refrigerant produces when it is in a gaseous state. This is an A/C Hose perfect for Chrysler Aspen models manufactured between 2006 to 2008, allowing the A/C to function optimally, providing comfort to every passenger. The Chrysler Aspen has a lot of strengths include big interior space and large engines and A/C hoses are supporting the crucial part of it. Also, efficiency plays a critical role in the safety of the vehicle since high temperatures can cause the A/C Hose and other car components to overheat, while a comfortable temperature is fundamental for a car's passengers comfort. Being an important part of the air conditioning system of Chrysler Aspen, the Chrysler Aspen A/C Hose provides great performance and durability, which makes this car part inalienable for every Chrysler Aspen owner's collection.

Chrysler Aspen A/C Hose Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Install A/C Hose Underbody Lines on Chrysler Aspen?
    A:
Adjust the refrigerant oil to the proper level before installing A/C underbody lines, as wrong oil levels can result in damage to the A/C compressor. Use only ND-11 Polyester (POE) oil in your HEV models, since Polyalkylene Glycol (PAG) oil is not safe for the refrigerant system. If recovery equipment was set up for a car without HEV, either wash the hose using an approved substance or chose services meant for HEV cars. When you have to replace more than one A/C part, look at the Refrigerant Oil Capacities chart to know the proper oil amount. Whenever you separate a refrigerant line, replace the O-ring seals and gaskets first to avoid any leaks. Put the underbody line assembly below the vehicle and raise the hoist until the frame and body mounts are in line. Affix the underbody lines to the car with five specially-sized fasteners and tighten each of the body mount bolts firmly. Take away the jack stands and link the rear heater hoses with the rear heater core tubes. After that, attach the clamps. Eliminate any tapes or plugs from the rear suction line, rear liquid line and rear evaporator extension line tapping plate ports. Apply a little refrigerant oil and fit only the suggested O-rings onto the back suction and liquid line fittings. Align the rear suction and liquid line with the rear evaporator tapping tub, then fix them by tightening the nut to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.). Glue or fasten the underbody heater hoses to the front heater hoses and clip them in place. Take off any tape or plugs from the line couplers and grease the new O-ring seals you will use. Attach the underbody liquid and suction lines to their extension tubes and fix the secondary retaining clips onto the refrigerant line couplers. Install the passenger's side tires and the right front wheelhouse splash shield before supporting your vehicle at the rear. To connect the battery back to the HEV models, first use the service disconnect near the battery pack, but for gasoline-only models, connect the negative battery cable instead. You should fill the engine cooling system, release refrigerant from the system, check and fill refrigerant oil and charge the refrigerant when it's required.
  • Q: How to Remove and Replace an A/C Hose in an HVAC System for Discharge Line on Chrysler Aspen?
    A:
Before changing or replacing the discharge line of the HVAC system, make sure the negative battery cable is disconnected and separated from the battery. Remove the refrigerant from the refrigerant system in the process. Disconnect the wire harness connector (6) from the A/C pressure transducer (5) and if the transducer is in your way, remove it from the A/C discharge line (1). Take out (7) the nut joining the A/C discharge line to (2) the condenser and free the line by separating it from both (3) the retainer on the condenser fan shroud (4) and (2) the condenser unit. Throw out the O-ring seal and gasket from the discharge line fitting, then use plugs to cover both the discharge line and condenser ports. Take out the nut (1) holding the A/C discharge line (3) to the compressor (4), remove the discharge line from the compressor and toss away the O-ring and gasket. After that, install end fittings or tape over the opened side of the refrigerant line and the compressor port. Then take the A/C discharge line out of the engine compartment.
