    Adjust the refrigerant oil to the proper level before installing A/C underbody lines, as wrong oil levels can result in damage to the A/C compressor. Use only ND-11 Polyester (POE) oil in your HEV models, since Polyalkylene Glycol (PAG) oil is not safe for the refrigerant system. If recovery equipment was set up for a car without HEV, either wash the hose using an approved substance or chose services meant for HEV cars. When you have to replace more than one A/C part, look at the Refrigerant Oil Capacities chart to know the proper oil amount. Whenever you separate a refrigerant line, replace the O-ring seals and gaskets first to avoid any leaks. Put the underbody line assembly below the vehicle and raise the hoist until the frame and body mounts are in line. Affix the underbody lines to the car with five specially-sized fasteners and tighten each of the body mount bolts firmly. Take away the jack stands and link the rear heater hoses with the rear heater core tubes. After that, attach the clamps.     Before changing or replacing the discharge line of the HVAC system, make sure the negative battery cable is disconnected and separated from the battery. Disconnect the wire harness connector (6) from the A/C pressure transducer (5) and if the transducer is in your way, remove it from the A/C discharge line (1). Take out (7) the nut joining the A/C discharge line to (2) the condenser and free the line by separating it from both (3) the retainer on the condenser fan shroud (4) and (2) the condenser unit. Throw out the O-ring seal and gasket from the discharge line fitting, then use plugs to cover both the discharge line and condenser ports. Take out the nut (1) holding the A/C discharge line (3) to the compressor (4), remove the discharge line from the compressor and toss away the O-ring and gasket. After that, install end fittings or tape over the opened side of the refrigerant line and the compressor port. Then take the A/C discharge line out of the engine compartment.
