If you didn't remove the spacer block or gaskets, skip this step. Ease the booster studs into the holes of the cowl panel and place the booster unit on the panel. Place and tighten the new bolts to 28 Nm or 250 in. lbs. Join the booster push rod onto the brake pedal and fix it with a clip. Put a new brake lamp switch onto the vehicle. Connect the opening of the vacuum hose to the throat of the check valve. Attach the master cylinder to the brake booster and screw in the nuts until they are held firmly at 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.). Plug back in the electrical connector for the brake fluid level. Connect the brake lines back to the master cylinder and ensure they are tightened with 19 Nm (170 in. lbs.). The next step is to fit the wiper arm and cowl assembly. Brake fluid should be added to and bled from the brake system.
