How to remove a battery tray on Chrysler Town & Country?

Before removing the battery, it's a good idea to disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. Then take out the battery. Next, remove the two bolts and nut keeping the battery tray attached to the left frame rail. Last, raise the battery tray out of the engine compartment and off the vehicle.

How to Service and Repair a Battery Tray on Chrysler 300?

First remove the battery to allow you to service and repair the battery tray. Next will be to use a small flat bladed tool to very gently pop the two mounting tabs the Power Distribution Center (PDC) is attached to the battery tray to hold the PDC out of the way. Take the battery tray mounting fasteners out and take the battery tray out of the vehicle next. Scare the battery tray back into the vehicle and install the mounting fasteners for the installation. Install the Power Distribution Center (PDC) onto the battery tray mounting tabs and press down gently until it clicks into place then reattach the battery.
