How to Maintain the Rear Outboard Seat Belt on Chrysler Cirrus?

When servicing the rear outboard seat belt, remove the rear seat cushion and take out the bolt connecting the seat belt anchor to the floor pan. After that, remove the upper quarter trim panel and take out the rear seat belt retractor bolt fastened to the inner quarter piece. The retractor and belt must be removed from the vehicle after that. Put the retractor and belt where they should be, fasten the nut and connect the rear seat belt retractor to the inner quarter panel. Attach the quarter trim panel up top, join the seat belt anchor to the floor and load the rear seat cushion back on.

How to Inspect and Replace Seat Belts on Chrysler Cirrus?

Inspect the shoulders and seat belts and whenever you find one with cuts or tears, replace it. Should the retractor be busted or not working, you should swap out the shoulder belt as well. The first step to take out the outboard front seat belt is to remove the B-pillar trim pieces, one at a time from top to bottom. After that, unbolt the retractor from the B-pillar and remove both parts from inside the vehicle. First, put the retractor and belt where they belong, install the bolt attaching the retractor to the B-pillar and finally put back the bottom and top B-pillar trims.
