How to Remove and Install a Clutch Master Cylinder on Chrysler Crossfire?

Prior to removing the clutch master cylinder, wear suitable clothing and safety glasses and use the right tools for brake fluid. Take out the lower driver side instrument panel and the illumination control module first. Cut off the line from the brake master cylinder to the clutch master cylinder inside the reservoir, remove the other two lines and finally protect the openings by putting caps on each. After that, take out the clutch pedal spring, circlip and retaining nuts. Turn the clutch master cylinder to the left to pull it out of the car. Mount the clutch master cylinder onto the pedal and turn it clockwise, firming it in place using the retaining nuts tightened to 10 Nm. Position the circlip onto the pedal stalk and mount the spring to the pedal. After adding the fluid pressure line, slide the clamp off the supply hose. Replace the illumination module and the lower driver side instrument panel. After that, release any air from the hydraulic clutch system and test the clutch action.
