Chrysler LHS A/C Condenser is an awesome component that comprises reliability and performance in Chrysler LHS series. Serving as a pre-requisite heat exchanger, the A/C Condenser cools the refrigerant gas, and, transforming it into a liquid state before it gets to the accumulator to give the prime air conditioner performance. Located in front of the radiator and occupying a considerable space between the fender and radiator, the A/C Condenser consists of a series of channels or tubes needed for heat exchange for the cars' comfort and luxury feel of Chrysler LHS automobiles. The latter implicates compatibility with various LHS models since it optimises the car's efficiency and safety by guaranteeing the normal functioning of the air conditioning system. The car maker has manufactured a full-size luxury sedan called Chrysler LHS from 1994 to 2001, which is famous for its luxurious comfort and style of driving, and among other things, functioning of A/C Condenser touches this aspect. However, one must acknowledge that the mechanical and constructional integrity of the A C condenser has a long-lasting effect on the Chrysler LHS and thus stands as a kind of production highlight in automotive industry. Because of its capability to uphold proper temperatures within the automobile, the A/C Condenser apart from contributing to the passengers' comfort also avails its technical support to the automobile, keeping Chrysler LHS as a worthy contender for full-size luxury sedans. Therefore, the Chrysler LHS A/C Condenser is an absolute option of the automobile air conditioning system that embodies Chrysler's sensitivity to the quality of the car as well as the corporation's determination to develop new technologies.

Chrysler LHS A/C Condenser Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How Can an A/C Condenser Be Serviced Without Draining the Cooling System or Removing the Radiator on Chrysler LHS?
    A:
Between the radiator and the front bumper sits the condenser which can be accessed without emptying the cooling system or taking out the radiator. Begin by disconnecting the negative cable remote terminal from the remote battery post. Employ a recovery machine to get the refrigerant out of your A/C unit. After that, pull out five center front fascia fasteners and two push pin fasteners in the right wheel well. Take out the right headlamp housing, the two push pin fasteners on the air flow deflectors and the upper radiator core support. Take out two lines to the engine Oil Cooler and the hose retainer, followed by the upper hose to the auxiliary transmission cooler. Twist open the upper A/C discharge line on the condenser and also remove the lower A/C liquid line with the fastener at the condenser, remembering that on the 300M, this fastener will be easier if you remove the passenger's side fog light. Cut off both of the auxiliary transmission cooler lines and remove their zip strips. Tighten the radiator, bolt at the top and the lower radiator bolt. Install the auxiliary transmission cooler on the new condenser ensuring the latter features new zip ties for attaching it. When taking out the radiator/condenser assembly from the vehicle, watch out for bending or breaking the condenser inlet tube. Simply follow the steps in reverse order to install the hub.
