  • Q: How to Service the Idle Control Valve on Chrysler LHS?
    A:
Before touching the IAC Motor, make sure to remove the negative Battery Cable and the air plenum. After that, unplug the electrical connection and use a screwdriver to release the mounting screws so you can pull out the IAC. To install it, set the IAC unit over the Throttle Body and then secure it with six 6.2 Nm (55 in. lbs.) torque screws. Secure the electrical connector to the IAC, fix the air plenum while attaching the clamp and finally attach the negative battery cable.
