This feature is especially important for different Prowler models allowing to achieve the optimal emission management and prevent possible damages to the engine at high emissions levels. The Chrysler Prowler EGR Tube also tends to be a very reliable and any suspect of it failing, such as rough idle or rattle noise should be serviced to maintain the integrity of the car. The fact that EGR Tube can be used in various models of Prowler assembles demonstrates that it plays central role in preserving the correctness of the engine operation. Also, the innovative use of exposed rims and aluminum on Chrysler Prowler provides the perfect element of symbiosis with its functional utility as evident with the EGR Tube. As for the performance, Chrysler Prowler's 'slightly' enlarged engine is able to produce immense power with astonishing acceleration and with the help of EGR Tube, it gives way to smooth driving while slightly caring about the environment. Chrysler Prowler EGR Tube Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Remove and Install an EGR Tube on Chrysler Prowler?
    A:
It is situated at the bottom of the intake manifold plenum, reaches out to the side of the Throttle Body and heads around to connect to the rear of the right cylinder head. You should start by taking out the negative cable from the battery and then remove the air intake duct. After that, disconnect the clips holding the EGR tube at the intake manifold plenum and remove the plenum. After that, remove the mounting screws on the EGR tube located at the EGR Valve, making sure the silicone rubber seals don't fall into the intake manifold. Ensure that the gasket surfaces on the EGR valve are clean to stop dirt from resulting in a leak which might cause the car to stumble and reduce vacuum levels inside the manifold. Following removal of the EGR tube, set in the new gaskets and align the EGR tube and its mounting screws even with the valve mounting spot. Screw the EGR tube to the EGR valve with 11 Nm (95 in. lbs.) torque and add rubber silicone seals to the intake manifold area of the tube. Slot the upper tube into the place for intake in the engine, with the rubber seals being undamaged and put back into position. Put the intake plenum in place, snap the clips that hold the EGR tube onto the plenum, attach the air intake duct and reconnect the negative Battery Cable last.
