  The first step in servicing and repairing the A/C heater control is to remove the bezel from the instrument panel's center strip, then the center Air Duct. After that, remove the two screws holding the A/C-heater control to the instrument panel and take the control out. Release both the vacuum harness, control cables and wire harness from the A/C-heater control board. For installation, link the vacuum harness, control cables and wire harness to the rear of the A/C-heater control and set the mode and temperature control cables properly. Position the A/C-heater control in the instrument panel, applying pressure to the screws until they show 2.3 Nm (20 in. lbs.) and then attach the center air duct and the instrument panel center stack bezel.

  First, place the A/C-heater control into the center bezel of the instrument panel. Secure the control with four screws, turning them to 2 Nm or 17 in. lbs. At this stage, fasten the center bezel to the instrument panel and link the wire harness to the rear sections of the A/C-heater control. Join the control cables to the mode door control lever and the temperature control lever, so that the retaining clips are tightly secured. Ensure you have plugged the wire harness connectors to the accessory switches, Power Window Switches and clock, as equiped, before you install the center bezel. In the end, plug the negative Battery Cable back in.
