Reach into your radigram crack and separate the retainer cushions by flexing the crimp tab at the top of the retainer. The cushions are removed by pulling them off at the slit in every cushion. Put the cushions around the sway bar so that the slit is pointing toward the car's front end. Fire up a sway bar retainer by joining the lower parts together and fit the halves across the cushions, matching their form. Make sure the cut in the cushion is directly over the front of the retainer. After that, fold the forward crimp tab onto the rear one to join them and place the sway bar back onto the rear axle last.
