How to Install the Rear Door Striker on the Outer C-Pillar on Chrysler 300?

Align the rear door latch striker on the face of the outer C-pillar. Join the striker to the C-pillar with two screws, set at 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.) of tightness. Shifting the latch striker helps the door line up and latch properly.

How to service and repair a rear door striker on Chrysler Pacifica?

Before servicing and repairing the rear door striker, mark the shape of the striker on the C-pillar so it is positioned correctly. Unscrew the latch striker from the C-pillar and pull out the striker, remembering to get any shims inside the car. The latch striker, along with the shims if used, should be put on the vehicle and you should loosely install the screws that will bind the striker to the C-pillar. Put the latch striker into position along the mark you made on the C-pillar and then ensure the fasteners are tightened to 26 N.m (19 ft.lbs.). Also, ensure the door works correctly and makes any needed changes to the latch striker.
