First, remove the negative battery cable before you can work on the Canister Purge Valve. After that, pull out the electrical connector and vacuum hoses before taking the purge valve out of the bracket. To install, attach the purge valve to the bracket, join together the vacuum lines and electrical connector, set the air cleaner box back and attach the negative battery cable last.
