Join and isolate the negative wire from the battery before removing the left multi-function switch and always give the system reserve capacitor two minutes to discharge before starting any work on the
Air Bags or steering column. After that, remove both the top and lower shrouds on the steering column. Afterward, loosen and remove the only screw (2) that holds the left multi-function switch (3) near the right edge of the
Clock Spring (1). Tilt the cover towards yourself, pulling the switch straight away from the Clock Spring. Then, disconnect the connector. Afterward, separate the wire harness from the left multi-function switch at the back and remove the switch (2) from the Clock Spring (1).
