Put some shop towels around the hose to collect any gasoline that might spill from the tank. First, unhook the negative battery cable and then take out the fuel line from the fuel rail using the process for Quick-Connect Fittings. After you have removed the fuel line, open the electrical connections to the
Fuel Injectors and take off the wiring harness from the fuel rail studs. Now, loosen and remove the 2 bolts holding the fuel rail and take out the fuel rail and injectors from the
Intake Manifold. In the final step, take out the fuel injectors from the rail.
