Place the
Axle Beam into position under the transmission jack at the same level, lift the jack and swing the trailing arms upward to line the bushings with the body brackets. Insert a through-bolt securely into every mounting bracket and bushing, then put on a nut, but don't tighten it at this time. After the tag at the midpoint of the coil is facing up, mount a lower isolator and jounce bumper on every coil spring. Place the
Coil Springs between the axle and body perch so that the jounce bumper sits at the top and with the jack raised, move the coils into place. Keep the jack up until the lower mounting bolts on the
Shock Absorbers can go through the axle brackets and shock absorber eyeground, then place a lower mounting nut and bolt on every shock absorber without tightening yet. Screw the
Track Bar into the axle with the bolt and nut joined, but only lightly and then pull the jack from under the axle. Fit the hub and bearing with the brake shield onto the axle and secure all of them with 55 Nm of mounting bolts. Be sure the mounting area of the wheel speed sensor is clean, then guide the sensor and hub/bearing, match up the screw hole and secure a new mounting screw to 6 Nm. At this stage, fit the wheel speed sensor routing clip into the rear axle and then lay the brake rotor over the hub and bearing. Put the caliper and adapter bracket on top of the axle and rotor as an assembly and then secure the pair with two bolts tightened to 100 Nm. After attaching the
Parking Brake Cable routing bracket to the axle with a screw of 6 Nm, also secure the right rear parking brake cable in front of the axle with screws tightened to 6 Nm. Place the left rear parking brake cable routing clamp on the left axle trailing arm and turn the bolt by 6 Nm. Place the wheel and tire assembly at each end of the vehicle, tighten the wheel nuts to 135 Nm and slowly repeat lowering the vehicle. Pump the brake pedal a few times to make sure it is properly positioned, then set your car on an alignment rack or lift high enough to check the rear suspension with the tires still at curb level. Apply 175 Nm to both trailing arm mounting bracket pivot thru-bolts, 75 Nm to the shock absorber lower mounting bolt nut and 81 Nm to the track bar lower mounting bolt nut.
