Be sure to install the rear coil spring with the tag-carrying end on the top, because the differences may not be easy to see. Before proceeding, fix a lower isolator and a jounce bumper onto the coil spring at that end. Place the coil springs underneath the body perch and over the axle so that the jounce bumper is inserted at the top. Elevate the coil springs with a jack before bolting the lower
Shock Absorber mounting components through the axle brackets and into the shock absorber lower mounting eyes. Put the lower mounting bolt (4) and nut (3) in at each shock absorber without securing them now. The next step is to bolt (3) and nut the
Track Bar (2) to the axle (4). Ensure both are secured, but not tightened yet. Take out the jack from beneath the axle and secure the rear brake flex hose bracket to the frame rail at both sides of the car. On both sides, fix the tire and wheel assembly (1) and tighten the wheel mounting nuts (3) to 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.). Lower down the vehicle and wheel it onto an alignment rack or drive-on lift, lifting the lift as necessary to expose the rear suspension without adjusting the vehicle's height. After making sure the vehicle curb height is okay, tighten the lower mounting bolt nuts on the shock absorber (1) to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.) and the track bar lower mounting bolt nut (3) to 81 Nm (60 ft. lbs.).
