After that, release the bolts that hold the crossmember to the frame rails. When you have to replace a bushing, first take out the bolt so the cradle crossmember can drop enough to remove the old bushing. Remove the bushing from the place it is located in the vehicle.

Confirm that the lower bushing has hit the bottom of the crossmember and the upper bushing is on the sheet metal too. Secure the bushing and crossmember to the frame rail with the bolt by hand, fit the cradle crossmember to the matching marks on the frame rails and tighten the attachment bolts to 163 Nm (120 ft. lbs.).
