When done, the snap ring groove 1 will be seen through flange 2. After that, place snap ring 2 into bearing 1. Bring press 3 into position by securing it to holder 2 and bearing cap 1 this time. Then, apply pressure until you can see the snap ring groove on the bearing cap is through the flange. Put snap ring 1 onto bearing cap 2. Place flange 1 into yoke 2 to hold the U-joint, then place press 2 with receiver 1 on yoke 2 and slip the lower bearing cap 3 onto the flange. Press down to insert the snap ring groove of the bearing cap through into the yoke, then install snap ring 2 onto bearing cap 1. Then, place receiver 3 on bearing cap 2 and the remaining bearing cap next to it. Drive the remaining bearing cap into place, so the snap ring groove passes through the yoke and fits the snap ring on bearing cap 1.
