Attach the outboard brake pad to the caliper with the retaining clip pushed into the two depressed areas on the caliper after the raised retaining bead. After placing the inboard brake pad into the abutment shims clipped inside the caliper adapter bracket, use caution not to tear the guide pin boot when attaching the caliper bracket to the adapter bracket. Rotate the disc Brake Caliper down and drop it over the Brake Rotor and part of the caliper adapter, then put in the lower guide pin bolt and tighten to 43 Nm (32 ft. lbs.). After mounting the outboard pad, examine it to confirm the pad and its clip are straight within the assembly, stopping any back pressure issue at the fingers.
