If you are changing the left front impact sensor, unhook the air intake system first, unplug the front impact sensor fitting, remove the retaining screws and get rid of the sensor. To remove the door-mounted side impact sensor, detach the side impact sensor electrical connector, remove the two screws keeping it in place and take out the sensor from the door. Delete the bottom quarter surround, pull out the electrical connector, remove both screws and remove the side impact sensor from the quarter panel.
