For installation, place the pump so the mounting holes fit on the engine and insert its three mounting bolts through the pulley access holes. Make sure to tighten them firmly to the recommended force. Make sure you install a new O-ring onto the pressure hose, greasing it with worn power steering fluid, then attach the pressure hose to the pump and tighten the tube nut to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.). After that, fit the supply hose to the pump and make sure the hose clamp is properly tightened. Take care not to allow the arm to fly backward to its free position, as this could very easily damage the tensioner. Rotate the tensioner counterclockwise until it touches its stop and after that, place the accessory
Drive Belt onto the pulleys. After that, attach the air filter assembly to the car, put in the retaining bolt and then link up the make-up air hose. Attach the tube to the
Throttle Body and air filter, making sure the clamps are tight and afterwards join the intake air temperature sensor connector. After that, mount the engine cover, hook up the negative cable to the battery and bleed the power steering.
