How to Locate, Remove, and Install a Battery Sensor on Dodge Dakota?

You will find the battery temperature sensor attached to the bottom of the vehicle battery on a mounting hole on the tray. Remove the battery first to remove the computer. After that, remove the sensor from the wire harness on the engine. Pull the sensor straight up from the hole in the battery tray. To install, send the engine wire harness through the opening at the top of the battery tray and place the sensor there. Push the sensor into the hole of the battery tray and then place the battery into position.
