How to Install an Air Duct for Optimal HVAC Performance on Dodge Durango?

Connect the rear floor distribution duct to the rear HVAC housing first, when starting to install the air duct. After that, secure the rear ceiling distribution duct (2) to the headliner duct and the rear HVAC housing, making certain it is properly fitted. After that, attach the rear ceiling and floor distribution ducts to the correct quarter panel using the provided push-pin fasteners (1). The last step is to fit the correct quarter panel trim to the inside of the car.

How to Service and Repair Rear Air Ducts on Dodge Durango?

Before repairing and servicing the air duct in the back, remove the right interior quarter panel trim first. Then, push-pin fasteners on the rear panels and take out the ones securing the ceiling and floor distribution ducts. Slide the lower half of the heater-A/C housing duct into the upper half, then remove it by separating it from the dismountable duct installed up in the vehicle headliner area. Remove the rear floor distribution duct from the rear heater-A/C housing and take it out of the car.
