Position the transmission lever into manual LOW, where it sits in front of the other notches. Pull the connector for the wiring away from the TRS and use a screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the TRS onto the bracket. Pull the TRS completely away from the bracket and then use Adapter 8581 to release the TRS bracket from the transmission case. Take away the TRS mounting bracket from the transmission case. Also for installation, put the manual shaft lever into LOW on the transmission and fix the TRS mounting bracket into the transmission case, tightened with Adapter 8581 to 34 Nm (300 inch lbs.). Make sure the wiring connector on the TRS faces the front of the transmission, then tighten the two screws to 3.4 Nm (30 inch lbs.). Check that your sensors are working properly, set the manual lever on the transmission to PARK, connect the TRS wiring connector, lower the car and add the right amount of transmission fluid.
