The condenser is in the middle, between the radiator and front bumper and can be taken care of while keeping the cooling system full. Open the hood and take out the negative terminal from the remote battery post first. Pull out the refrigerant from the system and set aside the retainers for the upper portion of the support holding the radiator. Release the auxiliary transmission cooler hose clamps and do not open the fittings on the cooler, but take off the screw and retainer bracket for the auxiliary cooler lines. After that, disconnect the fastener on the discharge line, the fastener on the liquid line and then unscrew the two screws holding the condenser to the radiator. Lift off the condenser together with the auxiliary transmission cooler and then remove it (along with the auxiliary transmission cooler) from the vehicle, cutting the retaining straps for the auxiliary transmission cooler. During installing, do not bend or break the condenser inlet tube. Install the cooler in the auxiliary transmission in the same place on the condenser and secure everything with fresh retaining straps before putting the condenser in the car. Fixed to the radiator with two screws at 10.5 Nm (95 in. lbs.), was connected the liquid line inlet to the condenser with a tightening of 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.) and the condenser outlet was connected to the discharge line with a nut tightening at 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.). Attach the retainer bracket and screw for the auxiliary transmission cooler lines, link the auxiliary transmission cooler hose fittings and place the upper radiator core support. Fit the negative
Battery Cable end back to the remote battery post, empty the refrigerant system and charge it up with refrigerant.
