  • Q: How to Service and Repair the Idle Control Valve on Dodge Intrepid?
    A:
The first step to work on the Idle Air Control (IAC) Motor is to disconnect the negative Battery Cable and its electricity connector. After that, remove the screws that attach the IAC mounting and take the IAC out. Set the IAC over the Throttle Body and tighten its mounting screws to 5.1 Nm (45 in. lbs.) torque for installation. After that, join the electrical connector to the IAC and attach the negative battery cable again.
