Dodge Intrepid Washer Reservoir Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Replace the Washer Reservoir on Dodge Intrepid?
    A:
To start the replacement of your windshield washer reservoir, open the hood and cut off the negative Battery Cable from the terminal on the battery. Unclip the left headlamp assembly from its position and put it away. Following this, remove the four bolts surrounding the washer reservoir, unplug the pump and sensor wires and then take off both the washer hose and filler hose. Turn the reservoir side toward the car's inside and raise it gently from its location inside the car. While installing a new reservoir, bring the pump and sensor over and then use a separate grommet for sealing so no leaks occur. In the engine area, put the reservoir in place, lean the inboard side backward and link up the washer filler hose, washer hose and pump and sensor wire connections once more. Fasten the reservoir with the bolts, reposition the left light assembly and then link the negative wire to the part that bolts on next to the battery.
